LIFE INTERRUPTED

I cannot believe it's been 9 months since I've posted... life just gets in the way sometimes! Our sweet Mackenzie Joy (shown in my last post this past January right after her birth) is the most amazingly happy child I've ever seen... she is always smiling... even when she has just woken up!

One of my favorite shots I've taken of her was right after I got her a Bumbo one weekend when we were watching her while the rest of the family was out of town... In case you don't know about these things... a Bumbo allows a baby to sit up long before they're able to on their own... they only need be able to hold their head up!

In case you're also a Memaw who loves the big flowers (or bows) on the baby girls' headbands... just got to share where I got this one... I actually got 15... all different colors...  each has a large flower on a clip with a huge "bling" in the middle of the blossom... so they can be mixed and matched... So obviously... Mackenzie has a Florida Gator combination... and when the Gators are playing, she's decked out in her Gator attire and headband... complete with Gator decals on her cheeks!
I found this collection on eBay for about $15 and most of that was shipping! They took about 2 weeks to arrive (from Hong Kong) but we feel were definitely worth the wait and a real bargain!
